In Loving Memory of Laura Jean

Laura Jean (Nix, formerly Kline) Campbell, age 63, of Ocoee, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, following a recent terminal diagnosis. Born on July 19, 1962, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the youngest of three children. Throughout her life, Laura, known as "Laurie" to family and friends, demonstrated a deep love for animals, particularly horses, and even raised pet raccoons during her youth.

Laurie's life was characterized by resilience, dedication, and a profound devotion to her family. As a single mother, she faced many challenges but remained steadfast in her commitment to providing for her daughter. She later remarried and shared many joyful years with her husband until his passing. In her later years, Laurie found great fulfillment in her role as a grandmother and was an active and supportive member of AA. She also found solace in caring for her beloved dog and backyard chickens.

Laurie's legacy lives on through the family she cherished, especially her grandchildren, and the strength, compassion, and hope she imparted through her recovery journey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Campbell, and her brother, Jeff Nix.
